Fee Structure
“My name is Carole Anne Benson and I am the co-owner of the Snowdrop House Montessori Group. The group was formed over 20 years ago and I am so proud of all the settings in our group. I would like to thank you for your interest in my nurseries and invite you to telephone us for a visit. Our nurseries are caring environments where the children can grow and flourish under the care of my qualified professional team of nursery practitioners. Many of my team members have been with me since I set up my first nursery.
We follow the philosophy of Maria Montessori concentrating in developing in children a lifelong love of learning. Montessori teaching encourages children to become able, confident and independent learners in harmony with the Early Years Foundation State (EYFS 2021). Our logo at all our nurseries is “Love grows here” which is evident when you visit us, and we work towards excellence in every aspect of nursery life.

Eligible working parents of children aged 9 months and above will be entitled to receive 15 hours of funded childcare for working parents. Children become eligible the term after their birthday. For the EYFE these dates are 1st September 1st January or 1st April.
This funded entitlement is provided at 11 hours per week, throughout the year.
This entitlement starts the term after your baby is 9 months old.
It is necessary for parents to claim this benefit direct via the HMRC more information can be found on the government website www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.
As with the existing funding of children three years old and above, the EYFE provision excludes items outside of the EYFS.
Your invoice shows the attendance you have requested. If your attendance is incorrect simply advise your nursery & a correct invoice will be issued.
If you are eligible, you must provide the information detailed below. Please make sure you reconfirm your eligibility every three months. Your code remains the same and parents will automatically be given 22 hours when eligible: –
The HMRC code 500, full name of child & date of birth, full address with postcode, full name of person who made the application, their national insurance number plus date of birth.
Details of your 15- or 30-hour claim must be submitted BY EMAIL ONLY to accounts@snowdrophousegroup.co.uk
The details you give must match those you gave to HMRC. Any variance will cause your claim to be rejected.
The nursery will not be responsible for any loss of FE for whatever reason.
With extended EYFE this will be spread throughout the year to a maximum of 22 hours per week.
Please note it is the parent’s responsibility to apply for the funding via the HMRC website and to reconfirm their eligibility when reminded to do so by the HMRC. Parents are responsible to make sure the nursery has all reference codes within the appropriate time scale.
Tax free childcare
You can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year).
If you get Tax-Free Childcare, you’ll set up an online childcare account for your child. For every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 to use to pay towards your fees.
You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 15- or 30-hours free childcare if you’re eligible for both.
Period of Notice
If you wish your child to leave the nursery you are required to give a month’s notice in writing. Any Early Years Funded Entitlement (EYFE) within the current cycle (Spring/Summer/Autumn) will be withheld by the nursery as part of the notice procedure.
Children attending other settings: It is our policy that children only attend one setting as we feel this is in the best interest of the child. This provides consistent care and education for your child and reduces their risk of catching childhood illnesses.
For more information please speak to the nursery manager.
Payments by vouchers.
All schemes are now closed to new entrants and being phased out.
We do accept the new Tax Free Childcare payments scheme for which you can apply via the HMRC website.
